Program Overview

We offer programs for children ages two to five.  As students progress through the age groups the number of days per week and length of the school day increase.

Each program is carefully tailored to the age group it serves and designed to foster learning and growth in all areas of children’s development.  Our educational approach is focused on growth.  We meet children where they are, providing individualized support as needed and challenge as warranted.

Twos Program

We have three classes for Twos, two in the morning and one in the afternoon.

M/W/F: 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
T/TH: 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
T/W/TH: 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Threes Program

We have five classes of Threes, three in the morning and two in the afternoon.

M-F: 9:00 a.m. – noon
M-F: 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Young Fours Program

We have two classes of Young Fours, both in the morning with the option of extended day.

Extended Day for this age group consists of lunchtime, a short rest period, and additional activity time and outdoor play.  Children signed up for Extended Day bring a nut-free lunch Monday to Thursday.  Children can sign up for Extended Day anytime during the year with prorated tuition.

Fours/Fives Program

We have three classes of Fours/Fives for children turning five and applying to kindergarten during the school year.

M-Th: 9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

F: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

The longer program for this age group ensures ample time to dig deep into project work based upon the children’s interests while engaging in important skill development essential to kindergarten readiness.  This age group brings a nut-free lunch Monday to Thursday.

Early Morning Drop-Off

We are pleased to offer Early Morning Drop-Off for families whose work schedule, child-care situation, or sibling drop-off at another school conflicts with drop-off time at Brick. EMDO begins at 8:00am and children must arrive by 8:20am to attend. Drop-off will be in the Garden, weather permitting, or Watson Hall if inclement weather.

June Program

The school operates a June Program which runs for the first two weeks in June. It is open to current students and Church members who are four or five years old. Activities include sprinklers and outdoor play, music and movement, games, cooking, arts and crafts, special projects, and activities guided by the children’s interests.
